Fantasy Town - Hide and Seek
by Wellvet
As the name suggests, this is a map for Hide and Seek set in a fantasy town. A different yet in some ways similar map to my previous one – Link: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id. I'm thinking, after the new year, of doing some sort of story mode - a coop challenge/challenge room/adventure - where the building plays a key role and the mystery of why this part of the city is sealed in a barrier would be revealed. HOW TO GET STARTED? [* You wake up after a night at the tavern with a hangover (and no idea what happened) in one of the eight rooms of the inn – starting rooms are legitimate places to hide 😉 [* If you are on the map just to look, you don't need to do anything and you can start exploring [hammer and spudgun can be found on the map, unless you want to smash a few things with a hammer, then select the Seeker option and press the revealed switch to start the challenge- you'll have to wait two minutes, though - unless you're sneeky. [* Hiders and Seekers: Choose your roles then Seeker will hide their HUD [alt+z and start the challenge by pressing the revealed switch [* Hiders start without the hammer and spudgun, but can find them on the map [* Due to the size and complexity of the map, I recommend taking a look at it beforehand [* Good luck and have fun. TIPS [* Hiders keep your hammers out of your hands unless necessary - otherwise you can clip through walls and so on. [* The switches aren't hidden via the chairs - to make it a little easier for Seeker - the exception being the toilet seats – not all of them, though. [* Most of the intended hiding spots are only accessible through switches - although the map's complexity offers plenty of other places to hide [* !!!! If you find a large switch (the only one on the map) - switching it will end the challenge !!!! [* If you find yourself off the map, and it's entirely possible, you're playing the map wrong :D IF YOU WILL BE SO KIND [* Tell me if 2 minutes is enough time to hide [* I will also appreciate if you mention any bugs - I admit that more complex logic circuits are not my strong point and so issues can arise[/* CREDITS There are a few amazing creations from the workshop that I took the liberty to use and I feel they deserve a mention: [* Steampunk Zeppelin by Muckan51 - link: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id steampunk clock by HEINRYS – link: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1200370655&searchtext=steampunk+clock+
