Hide & Seek
by crackx
Hide & Seek in Scrap Mechanic! Features Hide & Seek: Lets you play Hide & Seek on any map that has been prepared for it. Chat Commands: A set of chat commands allow the host to control the state of the game. Game Settings: A settings menu, allowing you to adjust the hiding time, game time, select seekers and more. Game Timers: Timers count the duration of the game and record how long it took for each player to be found. Custom Spawn Points: These let map builders control exactly where hiders and seekers will spawn when the game is started. Game Results: When a game ends, the results of the game are printed to the chat. These results contain the hiding time, game time, total time, each player that was found, the time it took for them to be found and the player who found them. How to Use To play a map, simply spawn a properly prepared blueprint ("properly prepared" = it has all the spawn points) and use /hns_start. If something is wrong with the map (like a missing spawn point), a warning will be displayed in the chat. To stop playing a map, either wait for the Game Time to run out or use /hns_stop to stop it manually. When building a map, make sure it has at least one of each of the spawn points in it! The map will not be playable if one or more of the spawn points are missing. The Default Spawnpoint is where all players spawn when the game ends. The Seeker Spawnpoint is where all seekers will spawn after the "Hiding Time" has run out. The Player Spawnpoint is where all hiders will spawn immediately after starting the game. Settings The settings menu can be accessed by the host player using /hns. In it, various things can be adjusted: Hide Time: The time in seconds that players have for hiding themselves before the seekers are released. Game Time: The time in seconds after which the game will automatically end. Set to 0 for no timeout. Max Seekers: Sets the maximum number of seekers. Found Players become Seekers: Does what it says - if this is enabled, found players become seekers. Seeker Selection: Sets how seekers are selected. Modes are: Manual (manually select seekers using the spudgun or hammer), Random (automatically chooses random seekers) and Host Player (sets the host player as seeker). Map Restrictions: Sets whether the map should be restricted during the game or not. (restricted = not buildable, not destructable, etc.) Inventory: Choose between limited and unlimited inventory Sledgehammer and Spudgun: Enables or disables the hammer and/or spudgun. This mod needs to be loaded in ACM in order to work.
