Nexus Battlemaster Self propelled Atomic cannon
by Don Quixote
Due to the precision-engineered structure and high maintenance costs of the advanced autoloader equipped on the Battlemaster, coupled with G.Corp's urgent need for more powerful and larger-caliber artillery, most Battlemaster tanks were recalled and sent back to the factory for modification. By lengthening the hull during the renovation, the tank was successfully adapted to mount the 688mm "Retribution" super-heavy nuclear cannon. However, constrained by the design conflict between engine layout and ammunition storage space, all operators of this modified Battlemaster are required to work exposed to the outside—resulting in its defensive capabilities being almost reduced to zero. Meanwhile, the ultra-large caliber design limits the on-board ammunition capacity, necessitating frequent logistical resupply; yet the small amount of ammunition it carries is sufficient to destroy the vast majority of enemy targets. Thanks to this extreme firepower advantage, the modified Battlemaster has gained full recognition from G.Corp's senior management, who are extremely satisfied with it.
