I noticed a lot of people were confused about them so: A bearing clutch is a clutch which is engaged or disengaged by either an electric or a gas engine. This engine does not add any power to the system. If you want to test it for yourself, you can connect a lamp to whatever is controlling the electric/gas engine, and see that it is off when driving (unless it's used for torque vectoring or braking). You can also disconnect the piston engine, and see that it will not drive, or activate the clutches manually while the piston engine is off, and see that nothing happens.
