The Village - Hide & Seek
by AlbaHart
Welcome to the village. The almighty golden duck, the venerable Quakus, accepts you with open wings. We hope you enjoy your stay. While here, feel free to join us at church so you can be guided to The Great Pond, where you can eat bread, and paddle around, in eternal bliss. Services are daily, and last all day, every day. Attendance is not compulsory, just... expected. All residents, while not worshipping, can pass the time working in our offices, where you can help fund our community by taking donations and contacting potential disciples. And you do get two days off from the office grind each week, where you can rest from the mental strain by spending time working in one of our dispatch warehouses. It isn't all work though, and you are welcome to enjoy one of the greenhouses, where you can relax on either of your five minute breaks each day. Or for the adventurous, we have a fun hedge maze. Just don't get lost in there and end up being late back to your desk. On the off chance you are a bit more energetic, we do have basketball court... no ball, but we do have a court. Don't worry though, as soon as we have finished construction on where the tennis courts used to be, we will be removing this to make way for something more useful. You can also visit the four High Priests of Quakus whenever they are home from their pilgrimages, spreading the word across the world. We are not sure when they are due back exactly, but their last postcard from Sydney suggested they were planning to travel to Hawaii and Fuji shortly to continue spreading the good word. During your stay, you will notice from the clock tower that, like Quakus, time flies in our community, so you will never be bored here. There's so much to do, and no time for silly children's games. Plus, we're such an open community, why would you ever want to hide? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hide & Seek: It is a decent size map, with about 85 hiding spots total. Once the Seeker is in his box, both people need to hold down the white buttons to start the game. The seeker then has 2 mins 30 seconds to wait before being released into the world. It is possible for everyone playing to enter the map without a seeker to explore, but you can't do it without your friends also being there. If you are the seeker though, enjoy "the clock". The "hidden" black button just start-stops the challenge For a map that doesn't require more than one person to access the map.... https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3450396491
