There are switches hidden throughout the house. 1) Activate all of the correct switches to unlock the Door 2) Check every inch and detail for switches 3) There is usually 1 clue and 1 switch for the Door in each room 4) For a more cinematic finish, do not activate the switch on the actual door until the end.
