Nexus Iron Wolf BMPT

Before the development of the Iron Wolf, the Warthog Missile Launcher and its supporting "Viceroy" missiles were the "benchmark weapons" for G.Corp's long-range precision strikes — the laser guidance technology of the Viceroy missiles enabled the Warthog to achieve remarkable combat achievements in various conflicts, making it the representative of the main anti-armor force at that time with mature technical capabilities and excellent combat performance. However, as time went on, the major shortcoming of the Warthog Missile Launcher — "single-function" — gradually became prominent, becoming a significant bottleneck in frontline operations. Functionally, it only focused on anti-vehicle and anti-aircraft capabilities, completely lacking anti-infantry capability. Moreover, it could not maintain movement while firing, making it extremely vulnerable to being a priority target for the enemy. Its light armor design was unable to withstand medium-caliber artillery fire, and it could even suffer sympathetic detonation from friendly stray bullets, with protection performance far lower than the frontline's demand for the durability of support vehicles. Thus, G.Corp initiated the development of the Iron Wolf Fire Support Vehicle. Firstly, it deeply reused the laser guidance core of the Viceroy missiles, upgrading the Warthog's dual launchers to four "Terminator" missile launchers, doubling the single-strike efficiency compared to the Warthog. Secondly, it added twin 23mm "Wolf Howl" machine guns, specifically designed for infantry clusters, with a rate of fire of 1,200 rounds per minute that could form a dense barrage, completely filling the gap in anti-infantry capabilities. Additionally, a horizontal stabilizer was installed to make it more accurate while moving and attacking. With these improvements, the Iron Wolf Fire Support Vehicle became a reliable assistant to other tanks on the battlefield.
