URAL-4320 (Command Vehicle)
TheUral-4320 is a Soviet and Russian large-capacity off-road truck with a 6 × 6 wheel arrangement, manufactured at the Ural Automobile Plant in Miass. The 4320 and its modifications are the model of the 3rd generation of Ural trucks and the successor of the 2nd generation Ural-375. Production of trucks and chassis of the Ural-4320 range was started on November 17, 1977 and in fact this series is produced to the present day, although in a significantly upgraded form. As of 1986, more than one million trucks have been produced. Initially Ural-4320 was equipped with a diesel engine KAMAZ-740, but as a result of a fire at the KAMAZ engine plant on 14 April 1993, deliveries of this engine to third-party manufacturers were stopped, and Ural-4320 (and all subsequent models and modifications of Ural trucks) were equipped with YAMZ-236 and YAMZ-238 engines of Yaroslavl Engine Plant.
