Trakai Castle
by DeivST
Trakai Castle hide and seek challenge map. This is my interpretation of a real-life castle in the Lithuanian town of Trakai, by no means it is an accurate representation of the real deal. The map was made using Google Maps and an ArcGIS 3D scan of an area(1) as a reference and guidelines. Now about the challenge map itself and its features. This map has 4 Easter egg hiding spots featuring certain YouTubers they are the only spots on the entire map requiring a hammer to reach certain areas of a hiding spot. Needless to mention, but I guess I will anyways… The YouTubers for whom these Easter egg spots are meant to be are ScrapMan, kAN Gaming, Kosmonaut, and the three smaller YouTubers sharing a singular Easter egg spot are Ashmaker000, GETGAVD and Butch13 Gaming. Now more about the hiding spots they vary from reasonably easy to difficult to close to legendary, nonetheless there are plenty to choose from (the more difficult hiding spots are marked with an upside-down wedge, and the sample switch panel is conveniently placed in the seeker area) and yes there is a few spots within a spot. Map features 4 hammer spots which are in 4 Easter egg hiding places. The seeker area is marked with a big letter S in front of a big red arrow (a big challenge switch behind an arrow finishes the challenge). You can chose one of 4 timer options 2,3,4 or 5 minutes each minute the light indicator will light and the challenge timer will start when chosen time elapsed. To start the challenge immediately you press switch surrounded by glass after each minute the light will light up and sound will ring to inform you whenever a minute has passed (in case you had missed the seekers elevator, you have an emergency switch next to the piston base of an elevator). And the last and most important thing is have fun and enjoy the challenge :) P.S Due to unfortunate flop in Scrapmans multiplayer monday video multiple changes had been done starting with a switch incased in glass in the courtyard to reveal all the hiding spots on the map, the castle gate is now open as a default with an option to close it, fixed switches with no connection, fixed unintentional tree hiding spots and some minor map adjustments https://www.arcgis.com/home/webscene/viewer.html?webscene=461cb078d4d84e96a901b3c72466650c&viewpoint=cam:24.93364699,54.65130376,201.52;1.383,70.008&fbclid=IwVERDUAOihMVleHRuA2FlbQIxMABzcnRjBmFwcF9pZAwzNTA2ODU1MzE3MjgAAR6vqKU4i-f29yY30xhJtEqW3IEvSOR90GafOIgDIoyGQqOgckxRAGPJ88Qovg_aem_hdZeUkvkNfxYvtABykoFWA
