kAN asked for this - Hide and Seek

Winners read the description! §1 Important Context - READ AT LEAST THIS IF YOU DON'T WANT TO READ ANYTHING ELSE! [* Who the hell is kAN and what did he ask for? kAN is a Youtuber that you know anyway if you are reading this. During a recent video (kAN's Video - timestamp 1min42s) kAN suggested a "Hide and Seek Race" map based on identical rooms, and while initially getting laughed at by his friends, I decided to add a little twist and actually make it a playable - non escape room - map concept. [* So how does this Map work then?: There are 7 identical rooms with 6 switch based hiding spots each, increasing in difficulty from 1 (easy) to 7 (diabolical). [* Anything else I should know?: EVERY hiding spot leads to a glass tunnel outside of the window of the room that it's in, such as to enable the hider to watch what is going on more easily. As a direct consequence of this, every hiding spot is visible from within every other hiding spot (which doesn't matter, because the switches are not), so sneaking a peek via the window carries the risk of exposing which room you chose to hide in to the seeker! [* What's up with the room design, why flamingos, why anything at all for that matter?: For the unenlightened among us: The room is a replica of the motel room from the episode "Mystery Spot" of the tv show "Supernatural", which besides being a great tv show and episode, (small spoiler alert) this specific episode features a time loop, where the characters keep waking up in that same motel room, so I found it a fitting choice for a map that was gonna have a lot of the same room in it. The mystery spot itself also loosely served as inspiration for the seeker room. §2 Seeker Minigame Explanation After exploring the decks of a pirate ship in the last seeker minigame, this time you're stuck in a mystery spot with all sorts of strange things going on in it. Can you find your way out early for the absolute troll on your friends still trying to hide? (Note: Turning off the green start switch will also open up the door as a means of in case of emergency escape, or if your group decided on a shorter hiding timer. This is however not part of the minigame and is considered cheating if used outside of the afformentioned exceptions) §3 Map Details [* Number of hiding spots: As is always the answer in life, there are 42 hiding spots + 1 bonus spot [* Are there spots within spots?: Due to the concept of the map, I refrained of stacking hiding spots, so no, again with the exception of the 1 bonus spot. [* Hiding time: 4min to give everyone a chance to try the different levels. If your group wants a shorter time, simply deactivate the green start switch early. [* Destroying Objects: I highly advise against it. Should you chose to ignore this advice, I take no responsibility for the consequences. Maybe one day I will make the map blow itself up whenever something is destroyed, you never know... [* Start & End of Challenge: Big green switch starts the challenge, big red switch labeled "End" ends the challenge. §4 Helpful additional resources Hiding Spot Cheat Sheet §5 Stuff nobody wants to read anyway If you're actually still reading this far into the description, let me first of all congratulate you on having more patience than the majority of human kind. Good for you. Now if you're starting to think that this section seems a little inflated and unnecessary, you might be onto something, because as a reward for wasting your precious time reading through this description, I will let you in on a little secret. So gather round closely and don't tell anyone this, but the truth is: The seeker minigame is a lie! :O After the MPM Crew originally thought they were getting trolled in the museum seeker minigame and subsequently complained about the Harry Pottery description being too long, I got several requests about actually trolling them and having a reveal blatantly obvious in the description of the map that they chose not to read. So here it is, and I guess if either of them actually read this, I hereby tip my hat for outsmarting me and being persistent :D And I'll even throw in an additional reward: If you're looking for the bonus spot, I recommend taking a ride on the backseat of the impala ;) And if you're reading this with no knowledge or context to any of my other maps, let me present you with: All my Hide and Seek Maps, conveniently grouped as one collection! Thanks for playing my map, I hope you have fun with it, Sincerely Sebastian aka Toxyronic
