StabiliZING Mug
An interactable mug who is determined to stay upright! You can connect a logic signal to turn it on or off, or just leave it at its default of being on. STABILIZING MUG: The StabiliZING Mug has two key features. It's main feature is trying to always point upward whenever it is on. It also has a subtle angular velocity dampening effect, which can be used to slow down the rotation of parts or vehicles. While Suspension Glitch is great at stabilizing, there are four reasons why I created the Stabilizing Mug: 1. The StabiliZING Mug will always try to point upwards, while a suspension glitch will slowly veer from perfect alignment. 2. The StabiliZING Mug can be customized in stiffness. A suspension glitch is essentially perfectly stiff, with no way to make it feel more natural. 3. It is easy to keep it compact. The smallest a suspension glitch can get is 2x1x1, and that's only if you use glitchwelding. 4. It can be turned on and off with just a logic signal. You don't need to have any kinematics to restrict the suspension glitch, reducing volatility. SLOWING MUG: The slowing mug has a feature that can not be easily replicated: responsive vector-based velocity dampening. Instead of slowing down with sensors/input, it will automatically slow down your creation from the point it is placed. Often works better with more than one slowing mug, but it depends on your use case. DEMOS: I've made a few vehicles to showcase all of the possible ways you could use this tech, and might make a few more. I was trying to figure out how everything in Scrap Mechanic Modding worked, and there were some questions that weren't answered by the Scrap Mechanic Lua API Reference.
